How to Volunteer |
Volunteers play a vital role at the Children's Home Society of Idaho. Our dedicated volunteers assist the Children's Home Society in many capacities.
Special events include our signature gala event, held in February of each year; our Mother's Day Brunch and Old Fashioned Ice Cream Social held in the spring of each year. Volunteers assist with planning, decorating, marketing and securing live and silent auction items. Chairpersons and committee members are needed to make these annual events a success.
Program volunteers provide supplies and other items needed for the Warm Springs Counseling Center. Materials and supplies are always in high demand for art, horticulture and play therapies.
General volunteers help with our short-term goals. Organizations can partner with us through the United Way Days of Caring project, or school/civic group service projects. General volunteers also help with clerical duties as needed.
We invite individuals, families, service organizations, companies and school groups to donate their time to the Children's Home Society of Idaho. Whether you have one hour or one year to contribute to the Children's Home Society of Idaho and the Warm Springs Counseling Center, we welcome you to our team.
