Positive About Self: Self Esteem Group for Girls 13-15

A positive sense of self, especialy during the teen years, is very important to personal growth, success, and well-being. This group for teen girls will focus on positive body image and self esteem.
During the 11-week program, participants will gain the knowledge and skills to:
- Reframe negative self-talk into positive attributions
- Increase awareness of negative cultural & societal influences, and develop coping skills
- Learn techniques to increase self-confidence
- Express feelings and emotions through creative processes
- Verbalize feelings and emotion
The group will be lead by Lisa Williams, LCPC, ATR, NNC; and Jennifer Ritter, LCPC.
Most insurance plans and Medicaid will be accepted and subsidies are available for those who qualify.
