Children’s Home Society Appoints Intermountain Gas Executive Linda Murray to Board of Directors

BOISE, Idaho (Jan. 13, 2012) — Children’s Home Society of Idaho, a non-profit organization that provides emotional and behavioral health care to at-risk children and the families that care for them, has appointed Linda Murray, director of human resources for Intermountain Gas Company, to its board of directors.
An Idaho native, Murray brings a 27-year background in human resources and leadership development to the Children’s Home Society’s board. Prior to joining Intermountain Gas in 2007, she was Regional Human Resource Manager at Trus Joist Weyerhaeuser, and assistant Vice President of Corporate Benefits at U.S. Bank. She has served on the board of directors for Casa and the March of Dimes, and the advisory board for the Casey Family Program.
As a Children’s Home Society board member, Murray will provide expertise in leadership development, strategic planning and organizational. Her three-year term began on Jan. 1, 2012.
