100 YEAR ANNIVERSARY PRESS CONFERENCE May 2, 2008 · 12:00 PM
For the past 100 years, the Children's Home Society of Idaho has been serving the abandoned, abused and neglected children of Idaho. May 2, 2008 marks the 100 year anniversary of the Children's Home, beginning with a press conference held on the steps of the Children's Home that will announce a week of festivities to celebrate. The press conference will feature proclamations from elected officials as well as an outline of the events throughout the anniversary week. We will also be making a special dedication to Cynthia Mann involving children from Cynthia Mann Elementary School.
HISTORIC TOUR OF HOMES ON WARM SPRINGS AVE & CHS BARBEQUE May 4, 2008 · 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Warm Springs Historic Neighborhood Association will be hosting a tour of the historic homes along Warm Springs Ave. As one of the most recognized historic homes in Idaho, the Children's Home will be selling tickets for this event as well as hosting a barbeque on its grounds for the public.

A long time supporter of the Children's Home, Jane Wooster Scott will unveil her original painting of the Children's Home, entitled "Hope for a Brighter Tomorrow." A private reception sponsored by Norco, Inc. will be hosted in the Berryhill ballroom on May 6. A public reception will be held at the Children's Home the following day. A number of prints signed by Jane Wooster Scott will be available for fans and collectors alike.
MOTHER'S DAY LUNCHEON May 9, 2008 · 12:00 PM
The Mother's Day Luncheon is an event to celebrate motherhood. Scheduled at Hillcrest Country Club, the Mother's Day Luncheon will feature keynote speaker Cherie Buckner-Webb. An Idaho native, Buckner-Webb is a respected motivational speaker who also uses her voice to raise awareness about diversity, inclusion and human rights topics.
AN EVENING WITH TONY BENNETT May 10, 2008 · 8:00 PM
The legendary Tony Bennett will perform in Boise May 10, 2008 to culminate the week-long festivities of the Children's Home Society of Idaho's Centennial Celebration. The concert will feature Mr. Bennett's daughter, Antonia Bennett as the opening act. This family affair will surely be a night to remember. All proceeds directly benefit the Children's Home and their mission to promote the social, emotional, and physical well-being of children and families in our community, regardless of their ability to pay.
