- Since opening the first Bridge Home in August 2007, The Bridge has served more than 60 children in a residential capacity.
- The Bridge works to keep sibling groups together, reduce the number of placements, and provide the highest quality of care to children in foster care.
History
Founded in 2005, as a program of the Children’s Home Society of Idaho, The Bridge works to ensure Idaho’s children experiencing foster care find loving, lasting families matched to their backgrounds and needs. In 2007, The Bridge purchased its first Bridge home and has purchased three more since. The Department of Health and Welfare places children in these homes where licensed foster parents care for them.
